East Asian Languages at GLCA/ACM Colleges

Japan Study works with Waseda University to place Japanese language instructors on GLCA/ACM colleges. These instructors are recent graduates of Waseda's graduate programs in language instruction. The following colleges have participated in this program: Albion College, Earlham College, Grinnell College, Hope College, Macalester College, Monmouth College and St. Olaf College. Japan Study creates a yearly report on enrollments in Japanese and Chinese language courses on GLCA and ACM campuses. The survey asks representatives from each campus to provide the number of students completing first, second, third, and fourth year Japanese and Chinese courses each fall semester.
