Cultural Practicum
Ski Resort: Hakuba, Nagano
In exchange for working at a ski resort, students receive room, board, and ski lift passes. The workday is long and intense, but not terribly exciting. Tasks include cleaning rooms, bathrooms, and working in the dining hall. But after work, the skiing and snowboarding is great. Students live in dormitories with other Japanese college students.
Students in the past have said that this site requires a lot of hard work, energy, and ambition. Although the students worked hard at Hakuba, they have all said it was very rewarding.
