Off-campus Opportunities
"Oberlin provides many special programs to enable students to pursue their own interests. Students use the winter term (spanning the four weeks of January) to study a subject intensively or explore something new. Winter term projects can be undertaken on-campus or off. Some students serve internships -- set up with the help of the Office of Career Services, the Center for Service and Learning, alumni, or faculty members--to gain valuable work experience or learn about a new field."
